Assistant Manager (Marketing) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 533737) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, public relations, creative media or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; competence in creating and designing social media post contents; proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (such as Adobe Creative, Photoshop and Camtasia); strong project management, writing and editing skills; and up-to-date knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). They should be responsible, organized and able to work independently.
The appointee will design and execute social media promotion strategy for the HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care (JCICC), a purpose-built cancer-specific research and service centre focusing on psychosocial care. He/She will (1) implement and monitor multimedia shooting projects from ideation to post-production stage, (2) manage social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, (3) write and create well-researched contents for digital psycho-education, (4) create illustrations, video clips, logos and other materials; (5) perform ad hoc duties as needed.
