Administrative Assistant II in the Master Programme Office of the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref.:533675) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 9 years of programme management and supervisory experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; strong leadership, organisational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication skills; and a demonstrated capacity to work independently and take initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of postgraduate degree programmes. They will play a versatile role at the frontline, leading a small team to deliver a wide range of tasks related to programme operation and student matter administration, including one or more of the areas related to: postgraduate programme admission, assessment, curriculum revisions, syllabus and accreditation, quality assurance, and examination matters. They will also be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans and policies related to the delivery of master’s programmes in the School, which has teaching facilities in both the Pokfulam campus in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee will work from the School’s Master Programme Office, located off-site in Pacific Plaza, Sai Wan.
