Project Officer/Project Assistant (at the rank of Technical Officer/Senior Technical Assistant) in the Division of Neurology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533663) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree; OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in graphic design, multimedia design or a related field.  They should be competent in creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere.  Knowledge of video production and website design is preferred.  Experience in event coordination is an advantage.  Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Technical Assistant.

The appointee will develop creative concepts, layout, artwork and video content for various platforms such as websites, social media, printed materials, and assist in event coordination and promotion.  The primary focus will be on projects within the Stroke Research and Prevention Group of HKU (HKU Stroke), including the development and execution of media campaigns across digital, print and broadcast channels.
