Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Centre for Applied English Studies (Ref.: 533430) (to commence from December 2025 or as soon as thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.)

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in programme administration or student affairs. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. They must demonstrate the capacity to work effectively under pressure and possess a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential. Candidates are expected to be proficient in MS Office Suite and online communication tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing co-curricular and admissions support for a taught postgraduate programme
  • Handling student inquiries
  • Providing liaison support for physical premises-related matters
  • Offering secretarial and administrative support for other provisions and/or committees within the Centre, as and when necessary

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
