Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533417) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in (1) Biostatistics, Statistical, Computing and Data Science, or (2) Psychology/Social Science, or other related disciplines. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, the willingness to learn new skills, a strong commitment to high quality research, good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness. Experience in clinical research and proficiency in statistical programming (e.g. R) would be advantageous. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Depending on the successful applicant’s background, he/she may be assigned to carry out the funded research projects (e.g., to collect, manage, and analyze preliminary data, and to provide administrative support); and/or responsible for more sophisticated data analysis; and other duties as assigned. Our team has research focus on psychosis, autism, electronic health-record studies, neurocognitive studies etc. This post provides an excellent training opportunity for those who plan to pursue postgraduate studies in clinical and research field.
