Part-time Technical Officer in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533413) (to commence as soon as possible, on one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 2 years’ solid work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions or other public organizations. They should have a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (including Putonghua), a strong sense of responsibility, and good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be self-motivated, attentive to details, capable of handling multiple tasks and able to work independently and in a team. Experience in procurement, basic research laboratory operations, new research laboratory establishment and development, and providing technical support regarding installation and maintenance for equipment would be an advantage.
The appointee will provide support for laboratories, such as daily operations, emergency support, disestablishment of laboratories, establishment and development of the new research laboratory, procurement, event/project management, and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
