Clinical Research Coordinator (at the rank of Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer) in the Clinical Research Centre of the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 532725)

We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator to join the Clinical Research Centre (CRC) to provide administrative support in the operation of the CRC.

The Role

The appointee will coordinate the execution of clinical studies in the Centre, and ensure the studies are conducted in compliance with study protocols, standard operating procedures, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements.  He/She will also assist various research teams in planning and managing their clinical studies, provide administrative and logistics support for the Centre, including handle ethics submissions, organize meetings, maintain records, write reports, deliver research seminars, update training and Centre information and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Biological, Medical, Life Sciences or related disciplines;
  • Not less than 5 years’ work experience in conducting or coordinating clinical research including research site management, patient management and financial management;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated; and
  • A good team player with positive service attitude.

Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of Technical Officer.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
