Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on research projects related to gene-editing and other research-related projects
  • Assist in data acquisition and analysis, write-up the results, prepare scientific publications, draft research grants, and provide strategic guidance to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Provide technical training, coaching and supervision of research team members and students
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. degree, preferably in Biological Science, Biomedical Science or other related disciplines
  • Extensive experience in stem cell culture, gene-editing and CRISPR-Cas9 system
  • Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of managing a research team and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Self-driven, motivated, and capable of executing project tasks and deliverables according to project requirements
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Able to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Animal handling experience is preferred

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 to 3 year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
