Director of Marketing, Executive Education (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532518) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a good bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent professional qualifications, with a minimum of 8 years’ work experience, preferably with experience at the management level in a business school. They should have rich experience in marketing and admission for higher-level education, preferably executive education programmes; master a high-level of design proficiency and related skills in branding, marketing and promotion; and be familiar with the respective marketing practices and promotion channels in mainland China as well as Hong Kong. They should be strong team builders and outcome-driven leaders; possess strategic thinking, innovative and effective organization skills in initiating and executing plans to deliver expected quality outputs under tight deadlines; and have the ability to develop and define business strategies in order to build pipelines and achieve sales, revenue, profitability and growth targets. They should also have good connections with the professional community and industry; know the business environment of mainland China well, and have rich experience in interacting with entrepreneurs, corporate executives as well as other business leaders.
The appointee will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing, promotion, and admission initiatives for the Faculty’s Executive Education programmes, to actively build up the programme branding and reputation. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours/ during weekends and travel outside Hong Kong.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary.
