Student Affairs Assistant I (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Counselling and Person Enrichment Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 532502) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).
Applicants should have a recognised Diploma/Associate Degree or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 1 year’s office experience. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree will also be considered. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (particularly Excel) and online learning platforms (e.g. Zoom/Microsoft Teams) is a must.
They should possess effective communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. They should be capable of working independently in a multi-tasking environment. Applicants should also be self-motivated, attentive to details with high accuracy, patient to students in need, and a collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
The appointee will provide administrative support to an education fund, offer reception services and arrange counselling appointments, assist in the promotion and implementation of person enrichment and peer support programmes, awareness-raising campaigns and large-scale events, perform data analysis and any other duties as assigned.
