Video Producer (at the rank of IT officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532461) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a good university degree or diploma in Multimedia Productions, Creative Media or other related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ work experience in multimedia production with a focus on video content. Hands-on experience in video production and editing (including but not limited to image manipulation, colour correction, and motion graphics creation utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite or other comparable software); the ability to oversee and supervise the workflow of video production, from conceptualization to execution; and experience in operating video and photo cameras, lighting, stabilization, and audio equipment. Photography skills are highly preferred.

Applicants should show understanding of emerging visual communication methods and trends for their use in social media. They should be personable and able to work effectively with content creators and writers; have excellent communication skills; exceptional project management, organisational, and problem-solving skills; and the ability to produce high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

The appointee will play a versatile role in supporting the Faculty’s digital strategy and social media portfolios, including video editing for in-house projects and liaison with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate multimedia production. He/She may perform other duties as assigned in support of the Faculty's mission, core values and goals.
