Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 532455) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in a finance-related area. They should be self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A good command of English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua; effective interpersonal and organisational skills; and a good level of IT proficiency are essential. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, along with demonstrated competence in handling complex clerical duties, are also expected.
The appointee will assist in clerical/administrative work primarily in finance and grant management; and perform general office administration and ad hoc/non-routine tasks as required. Work outside normal office hours may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Applicants with less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.
