IT Manager in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532452) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related disciplines. Certifications such as PMP are highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience is required, including at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure, campus development projects, or large-scale technical implementations, with mandatory experience managing teams of 10+ members. Experience in cross-functional collaboration with facilities management, architects, and external contractors is essential. Strong leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills are critical, along with proficiency in budgeting, procurement strategies and a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

The appointee will lead two mission-critical IT domains for the LKS Faculty of Medicine. He/She will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure solutions supporting campus development (encompassing the design, construction, renovation, and enhancement of university facilities); ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful cross-functional collaboration with facilities management, architects, and external contractors through all project phases. Other duties include overseeing IT Service Desk to deliver responsive, high-quality support for academic, research, and administrative users; and optimizing processes for incident handling, service requests, and operational efficiency. He/She will develop procurement strategies and manage tendering processes (evaluation criteria, timeline, documentation, vendor selection) and identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

The University only accepts online application for the above post. Applicants should apply online and upload an up-to-date C.V. Review of applications will start from July 7, 2025 and continue until August 23, 2025, or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
