Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: 532443) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 4 years of full-time work experience in event management, communications, marketing or a related field. Applicants should have a good command of English and Chinese. Proficiency in common computer applications, including MS Office and Chinese word processing, is required. They should also have good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently as well as in a team. The ability to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality and data protection are essential. Applicants should be mature, self-motivated, attentive to details, and capable of working under pressure. Applicants with a recognized Bachelor’s degree will be considered for appointment holding the functional title of Executive Assistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
The appointee will provide support in planning, organising, and executing events, workshops, seminars, and other promotional activities, including coordinating logistics such as venue arrangements, catering, and technical requirements. They will assist in drafting and proofreading promotional materials and invitations, and liaising with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth event execution. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining social media accounts and updating content related to events and activities, performing ad hoc tasks as needed, along with any other duties assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required.
