Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant) in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref. 532400) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in handling academic programmes, preferably with experience in finance matters.  Experience in handling postgraduate programmes would be an advantage.  They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good computer proficiency, especially in using Microsoft Office software; strong organizational and communication skills; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team; and attend to details.  Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.

Clerk I (Senior Executive Assistant):

The appointee will provide finance, human resources, procurement and administration support to the Department; handle academic programmes matters when necessary; liaise and coordinate with internal units and external units / organizations; assist in organizing activities and events of the Department; and perform other duties as assigned.

Clerk II (Executive Assistant):

The appointee will handle academic programmes matters for the Department; assist in tasks related to human resources, finance and procurement; liaise and coordinate with internal units and external units / organizations; assist in organizing activities and events of the Department; and perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
