Executive Officer in the Programme Office of the Faculty of Education (Ref.:532316)
We are looking for an Executive Officer to join the Faculty of Education and provide support for our undergraduate programmes.
The Role
The appointee will provide administrative support to the planning, management and development of undergraduate programmes including admissions, timetabling, course evaluation and assessment matters; provide secretarial support to committees; handle student matters; and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- Minimum 5 years of administrative experience;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua is a plus);
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with diverse groups;
- Proven problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing issues independently and tactfully;
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the role;
- Advanced digital literacy, proficient in using various software and applications; and
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
