Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 532164) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant administrative experience in a tertiary education environment. Previous experience in program administration, student affairs, or event and project management is preferred. The ideal candidate should be proactive, possess an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and have proficient IT skills. They should also be a detail-oriented team player capable of multitasking. Proficiency in Canva and CapCut would be an advantage.

The role involves coordinating postgraduate student enrichment programs and supporting the TPg Student Centre's operations to provide various student services, such as professional development workshops, social events, and career talks. Building relationships with students and stakeholders through events and activities to enhance engagement and satisfaction is a key aspect of the position. He/She will also perform other duties as assigned. The appointee will work at the Faculty's TPg Student Centre near the campus, with potential requirements to work outside regular office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a written test and an interview as part of the selection process.
