Research Assistant I in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532139) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Public Health, Social Administration / Policy, Psychology, or a related discipline. They should possess excellent work attitudes, communication skills and command of written English and/or Chinese; basic knowledge in using statistical software such as SPSS; and, be able to work independently and as a team. Those with prior experience in systematic literature reviews, project coordination, project evaluation, data analysis, and report or grant writing would be preferred.
The appointee will have the opportunity to join a highly dynamic research team led by Prof. William Wong which involves medical professionals, epidemiologist / biostaticians, and psychologists in the field of Family Medicine & Primary Care. The appointee will work on a funded international project involving primary health care evaluation.
