Executive Officer/Secretary I (holding the functional title of Assistant Officer) (several posts) in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532116) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' work experience, preferably in an education setting. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, hands-on experience in handling data with Excel, the ability to work independently with initiative, good logical thinking as well as organisational and communication skills.
The appointees will be provide administrative support to the operations and administration and responsible for the following duties:
- Supporting a team for students’ teaching and learning activities including academic coordination, student administration and services;
- Ensuring smooth programme administration by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders;
- Providing administrative support to the professorial staff; and
- Performing other assigned duties.
They will work at the Queen Mary Hospital or Hong Kong Children’s Hospital compounds; and may be required to work outside normal office hours occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Those with less experience will be considered for appointment as Secretary I.
