Assistant Academic Programme Officer (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Real Estate and Construction (Ref.: 532047) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a higher diploma or above, with at least 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE Examination, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant administrative experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage), the ability to work independently and in a team, and good communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be organised, highly motivated, responsible, resourceful, attentive to details, and able to multitask.
The appointee will support a wide range of administrative matters, assist in personnel and financial management of the Department, provide general administrative support to the Research team and in departmental events, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department and his delegate.
