Executive Officer in the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (Ref.: 531987) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ full-time work experience in office and teaching programme administration. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication and organizational skills; a good teamwork attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. A good knowledge of and skills in computer and web applications (including MS Office, WordPress and video-conferencing software) is preferred. Preference will be given to those who have work experience in tertiary education, teaching programme promotion, and research/action project administration.

The appointee will work with other administrators and be responsible for providing administrative support to the Centre and its academic programmes, projects and events. Duties include, but not limited to, office management, admissions and enrolment, student affairs, event organisation, social media management and general IT support. Multitasking skills are important and working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be occasionally required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
