The Department of Politics and Public Administration has played a leading role in Politics and Public Administration research and education since its establishment in 1970. Alongside a competitive PhD research degree programme, the Department offers three highly successful taught postgraduate programmes – Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master in International and Public Affairs (MIPA), and Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) – as well as a thriving undergraduate programme. The Position: Applications are invited for a full-time senior lectureship commencing on September 1, 2025. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Public Administration, Public Management, or related fields with substantive teaching experience at the tertiary education level and a strong record of teaching excellence and programme management. Applicants are expected to have expertise on organization theory, public management, policymaking process, and e-government. Preferences will be given to those with strong research experience and publication records.
What We Offer: The appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with a possibility of renewal. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary.
