Programme Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) / Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Admissions Office of the Registry (Ref.: 531929) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

 

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' work experience, preferably in the education sector or in public relations related fields.  They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, the ability to work independently with initiative, good organisational and communication skills, as well as an outgoing personality.  Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.

 

The appointee will be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing short-term programmes for secondary school students in Hong Kong and overseas.  He/She will be in charge of implementing and administering student programmes and admissions events.  Additionally, he/she will need to collaborate with other university departments and external organisations, schools, and the community to support the diversification of the University’s undergraduate population and recruit students in local and overseas markets by devising specific outreach strategies, liaising with key stakeholders, and supporting and communicating with students throughout the application process.  The appointee will also need to perform any other duties assigned by the Head of the Office. He/She may be required to work outside regular office hours and on weekends, as well as travel abroad.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
