Executive Officer in the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) (Ref.: 531926) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) is an academic research-support centre embracing multi-omics and big data biomedical research under the LKS Faculty of Medicine. The Role

  • Assist in the management of procurement, preparation of tender documents and payment activities
  • Liaise with internal/external parties and manage different processes/databases
  • Supervise junior staff
  • Support daily operations and strategic development of the Centre
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years' relevant post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in laboratory and core facilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, database management, and other productivity software
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Mature with a positive attitude, proactive, reliable, detail-minded and a good team player
  • Willing to meet new challenges
