Executive (Development) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Development & Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO) (Ref.: 531855) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.)

The Role
The appointee will be responsible for supporting the administration and development of engagement initiatives in networking and fundraising, including:
- Conduct research, prepare administrative reports;
- Prepare communication materials;
- Plan and execute events or campaigns;
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. venues, corporate communication) for event-related logistics and marketing;
- Manage donor relations by assisting with stewardship plans and strategies; and
- Collaborate with faculties, academics and staff in fundraising opportunities.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree or above;
- At least 5 years of full-time work experience; relevant experience in event planning and management, marketing, and data management is an advantage;
- Experience in higher education sector is preferred;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); and strong communication skills are essential;
- Exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
- Meticulous and self-motivated, a good team player with the ability to multi-task, and be very attentive to details; and
- The capacity for independent judgement.
