Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Engineering (several posts) (Ref.: 531750) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience; or a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of clerical experience preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua. They should also be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude; have strong interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills; as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Those with less experience or qualifications may be appointed as Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).
The appointees will provide administrative and clerical support to the undergraduate programmes, in areas including but not limited to admissions, outreach, student enrichment, course enrolment, examinations, timetabling, student matters and day-to-day enquiries, and perform any other duties as assigned. They may be required to work outside normal office hours. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
