Full-time Fieldwork Support Coordinator (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) (2 Posts) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 531730) (to commence as soon as possible until 31 December 2025, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, science, computer science, or statistics. He/She should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), and IT-related knowledge and skills. Applicants who have engaged with educational projects in the tertiary education sector and are familiar with the secondary education system in Hong Kong are also encouraged to apply.

Being detail-minded, responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team environment with strong organisational and communication skills are essential for this position. Familiarity with statistical analysis (e.g. SPSS) and/or data management is desirable. Prior experience with assessment administration in school settings and readiness to provide IT support before and during assessment activities will be an advantage.

The appointee will provide administrative and research support in the implementation of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025 in Hong Kong. He/She will be responsible for liaising and coordinating with schools, providing training to invigilators, setting up equipment and test venue, supporting data collection, organizing events and undertaking other project duties as assigned.
