Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531695) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 3 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field.  They should be competent communicators who have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate their team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.  An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential.  Experience in liaison with professional regulatory bodies would be an advantage.    

The appointee will play a versatile role at the frontline in co-ordinating internship and related affairs for a professional undergraduate programme.  Major duties include the preparation for and the conducting of merit-based allocation of internship places across multiple disciplines at various hospitals in Hong Kong, placement of clinical attachment with other local and foreign institutions, engagement with stakeholders, and provision of student-centred services.  Given the importance of effective liaison with internal and external parties, excellent communication skills are a must.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.   

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
