We now invite applications for appointment as Lecturer in the Faculty of Education.
Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be expected to undertake substantial teaching responsibilities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in one or more of the following areas: educational inquiry, curriculum studies, foundations of education, and philosophy and sociology of education. He/She will also be expected to supervise postgraduate students and perform administrative duties as appropriate.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Education or in a relevant discipline, and at least 5 years’ teaching experience in schools or tertiary institutions. Possession of a doctoral degree or teaching/professional qualification in the relevant fields is advantageous. Knowledge of the Hong Kong educational context is necessary.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 3 years, to commence on August 1, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of renewal.
