Postdoctoral Fellow in Advanced Alloys Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Applications are invited for appointment as Postdoctoral Fellow in the Advanced Alloys Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to commence as soon as possible, but in any case not later than Jun 1, 2025. The appointment will initially be made on a two-years fixed-term basis.
Applicants should possess a relevant PhD degree in material science and engineering or any related field. Academic background such as polymer composite, Thermal Interface Material (TIM), power packaging, thermal management in power devices will be an advantage. Candidates should have passion in research, good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and a good command of English.
The appointee is expected to work in multi-disciplinary environment with team members on research projects related to thermally conductive polymer composite, boron nitride (BN)-related TIM, thermal management and packaging design in power devices.
