Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref:531523) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably related to neuroscience, neuro-rehabilitation, child health or other healthcare related disciplines. Experience in wet lab/ handling of lab animals will be an advantage. Successful applicant should be self-motivated, highly committed, able to work in a team, with good organizational and administrative skills.
The appointee will support the research team to conduct translational research projects on child development and neuroscience. The appointee will liaise with different parties to carry out the assigned projects; assist in data collection and management; prepare reports and presentations; perform data analysis under supervision; provide administrative support; and perform other duties as assigned. Working on evenings and public holidays may be required. Specific on-the-job training will be provided if necessary.
