Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Coordinator) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 531507) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with experience in counselling. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good interpersonal and organizational skills. They should also be responsible; highly motivated; and able to work independently and in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator, in coordinating ongoing research projects related to smoking cessation, alcohol control, or primary health care. He/she will also assist in participant recruitment; intervention delivery; tracking project progress; and performing data entry and analysis, and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to research and counselling will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
