Research Assistant II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531497) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Biochemical Science or related disciplines, preferably with relevant experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology and tissue culture techniques. The appointees will be responsible for PBMCs isolation from blood samples of healthy donors; cell culture; isolation of extracellular vesicles; routine laboratory running; and perform other duties as assigned. They will be given an opportunity to learn cutting-edge technology related to flow cytometry, molecular cloning, and tumor immunotherapy. They should be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
