Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 531465)
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join the Faculty to provide quality administrative and clerical support to the Faculty Office.
The Role
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the Faculty Office, mainly in the area of Human Resources. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing logistics support for staff recruitment, appointment, and other HR-related activities;
• Arranging workshops and meetings;
• Answering general enquiries;
• Compiling data/statistics; and
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
• A Bachelor’s degree; OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with 3 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector;
• Good IT proficiency, including MS Word and MS Excel;
• Attention to details;
• A strong sense of responsibility, good problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to handle highly sensitive documentations in relation to personnel events; and
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, as well as multitask under pressure.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
