Executive Officer in Research Services of the Registry (Ref.: 531012) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions or other public organisations. They should be able to work independently, have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organisational and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
The appointee will provide support to research grant administration, system management and assist in the proposal vetting and post-award management. He/She is also required to input data and maintain database of the research grant / award system, compile reports, support ad-hoc events / projects and perform other duties as assigned. Experience in research administration in tertiary institutions and IT project management would be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
