Full-time Research Assistant II in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 530962) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
We now invite applications for the captioned post. The appointee will assist the Project Investigator in conducting research projects related to brain stimulation and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-language Pathology, Neuroscience, Biological Science, Nursing or a related discipline, preferably with experience in conducting clinical research. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (spoken Cantonese), familiarity with statistical analysis (e.g. SPSS) and MS Office application (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be attentive to details, with a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team environment. Preference will be given to those with solid experience in human and clinical research projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will work with team members to assist the Project Investigator to conduct research activities such as literature review, participant recruitment, data collection and analysis, and preparation of reports. They will be responsible for coordinating the logistics arrangement of research projects and perform other duties as assigned.
