The School of Public Health houses 6 academic divisions with around 300 staff. To support the operations of our School, our General Office is looking for Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant (in the rank of Clerk I/II) (several posts) (Ref.: 530942) to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. Part-time appointments will also be considered.

The Role

 The appointees will mainly support the following functions:

  • accounting (e.g., reimbursement, expense reports, cash advance reports, cost adjustments, coupon checking);
  • procurement (e.g., data entry, vendor sourcing, negotiation);
  • office administration (e.g., filing; support for HR administration, events, and visit programmes);
  • any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities 

  • minimum Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics;
  • at least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in accounting functions;
  • a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • good IT proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • experience with Oracle Financials or in Tertiary Education Institutions is a plus;
  • reliable, self-motivated, work well in a team or independently;
  • fresh university graduates will also be considered.

The appointments on fixed-terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary will be offered.
