Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 530919)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work on the general area of ultracold atomic gases, particularly in its dynamical aspects including, but not limited to, the exploration of transport coefficients in strongly interacting Fermi gases in various dimensions and physics of quantum gases with long range interactions.

Requirements

• a Ph.D. degree in Physics
• the ability to work independently and in a team
• self-motivated and responsible

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
