Nursing Officer in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 530862) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, and with 4 years’ relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. They should have clinical experience in aged care and chronic disease management, knowledge of collecting health-related research data with good understanding and experience in clinical research and multiple trial studies. They should have excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills; attention to details; and the ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
The appointee will work on research projects related to health service research involving large-scale population and multiple sites. He/She will assist in project management, data analysis and research dissemination; and will supervise a team of junior research staff in ethics applications, subject recruitment, data collection, and preparation of manuscript, etc. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends/ holidays may be required occasionally.
