Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Knowledge Exchange Officer) in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530856) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of full-time administrative experience, preferably in a tertiary institution, public organization or NGO; (ii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iii) IT competency with proficiency in MS Office; (iv) outstanding presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; and (v) the ability to work independently. They should also be (vi) a good team player and self-starter with positive attitude; and (vii) attentive to details. Those with solid experience in event management, public relations and/or online marketing would have an advantage.
The appointee will be a core member of the Knowledge Exchange Team, with the following key responsibilities:
- Organizing large-scale events and community outreach initiatives;
- Monitoring and managing project expenditures, budgets and financial reports;
- Managing social media platforms and event websites; and
- Preparing write-ups for promotional and publicity materials.
He/She will perform other ad hoc duties as assigned. Occasional work outside normal office hours and on weekends will be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
