Executive Officer/Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) in the Centre of Buddhist Studies (Ref.: 530837) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with 2-3 years of administrative experience in public or non-profit organizations. They should also have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, good organizational and communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work efficiently and independently. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Clerk I.
The appointee will be responsible for:
1. Managing all research-related administrative matters, including coordination of research activities, budget tracking, reimbursement, reporting, and the Research Assessment Exercise.
2. Overseeing all aspects of Research Postgraduate Programmes, including admission, examination, academic support services, and providing secretarial support for committees and meetings.
3. Serving as the primary contact point with the CBS Alumni Association, fostering relationships and coordinating engagement activities.
4. Organizing both online and offline activities, such as alumni events and mentorship programs, to engage teachers, students, and alumni.
5. Performing other duties as assigned.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. They may be required to work irregular hours.
