Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 530836)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain meticulous records of research findings, including clinical cohort data, adhering to rigorous standards of data integrity and reproducibility
- Oversee the management of plasmid stocks, and other biological materials, ensuring optimal storage, utilization, and tracking
- Manage the inventory and usage of laboratory consumables and reagents, implementing effective stock management and procurement strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 5.5 workday per week is required
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Chemistry or a related discipline, with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience in generation and characterization of monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies is preferred

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
