Manager, Career Development & Training (TPG) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530795) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Career Manager to join our team. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of full-time work experience, ideally from a corporate business development, relationship management, talent acquisition, or a relevant background. Applicants are expected to be a detail-oriented self-starter with a proactive work attitude, ability to multitask effectively, work well both independently and in a team, as well as demonstrate a sense of ownership. Since they will deal with many internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, having a sense of urgency and excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial for success. In addition, applicants should be excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin and Cantonese). They should have a good understanding of the recruitment market in Mainland China and Chinese companies in Hong Kong, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to establish talent pipeline especially with Chinese companies in different industries. They are passionate about assisting students in their career strategy, capable of introducing job opportunities, and adept at business development to bring new internship and full-time job prospects to our students.

The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus to support the Career Development and Training Services of Taught Postgraduate (TPg) programmes, which include engagement with recruiting partners across industries to understand their hiring needs.  He/She will work closely with our corporate partners in organising customised company events, leadership forums, career fairs and overseas career treks.  The appointee will also be involved in career resources planning, supporting the logistics and administration work of the mentorship programme, coaching sessions, learning and development workshops, and other ad-hoc projects.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a presentation session.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
