Senior Project Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 530767), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and preferably a higher degree in business administration, communication, social sciences, healthcare, or a related discipline. They should have at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably with solid experience at supervisory or management level in local and international companies. They should have a good command of written English and Chinese; strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills; proficiency in IT; and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in managing funded projects by the government and the Jockey Club would be an advantage.
The appointee will be involved in implementing and coordinating various projects. He/She will provide support to the training and administrative components of the projects and perform any other duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist the Assistant Project Director in day-to-day project management tasks, such as human resources and financial matters, including the preparation of quarterly reports for the Jockey Club
- Oversee office operations and supervise the administrative team
- Provide administrative support to the project team in organizing and managing programs and events
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on administrative tasks and event execution
- Perform other duties assigned
