Duties and Responsibilities (Each PDF will focus on one of following duties)
- Mechanism Analysis and Control of Cable-Driven Parallel Robots
- Multi-sensor Fusion (e.g., Laser, Vision, and Inertial Navigation)
- Collaborative Control of Multiple Robotic Arms
- Design and Control of Dexterous Hands/Multifunctional End Effectors
- Digital Twin Systems for Robots in Unstructured Environments

Requirements
Candidates should possess a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, and other related degrees or hands-on experience in the robotics area (preferably within two years).
They must be able to commit to full-time employment without any other concurrent employment obligations.
The following skills and knowledge are expected:
- Good research mindset and skills.
- Familiarity with fundamental robotics, including coordinate transformations, kinematics, dynamics, and trajectory planning.
- Proficiency in motor control, with experience in servo motor development.
- Knowledge of commonly used sensors/ cameras and their data processing methods, such as LiDAR and inertial sensors.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Matlab, or Python, with experience in ROS and the ability to develop robotic software systems.
Those with less qualifications and experience may be considered for an appointment as Research Associate.
