Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Agroforestry Officer) in the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (Ref.: 530638) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Agricultural Science, Natural/Biological Science, Social Sciences, Business Management or related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Applicants should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and excellent project management skills. The appointee should be able to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Preference will be given to those with work and/or research experience in the areas of Sustainable Agriculture and Food System.

The appointee will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering agricultural revitalization and agroforestry programmes; involved in agricultural product development and promotion; and other duties as assigned by the Director of the Centre. He/She is required to work outdoor and work on weekends or public holidays occasionally.
