Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Respiratory Medicine of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine  (Ref.: 530037)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct and supervise clinical research
  • Handle clinical data-bases and basic statistical analysis
  • Assist in patient consent and recruitment procedures
  • Coordinate clinical trials
  • Collect clinical specimens
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree with least 1 year’s post-qualification experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably with experience in clinical research
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft word and excel, including graphs plotting with excel
  • Knowledge of statistics, especially in using SPSS and R program
  • A good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II

 

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
