Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Sociology (Ref.: 530036), to commence as soon as possible for one year.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Epidemiology or Public Health or related disciplines with good research record on the social determinants of health among older adults, with particular expertise on disability and housing. They should have good knowledge of data harmonization and statistical analysis and research experience in handling longitudinal data analysis. Proficiency in written English; excellence in management and statistical skills; ability to work independently.
The appointees will assist Professor Tarani Chandola and his project team in planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities on his research projects; oversee data collection, data analysis and draft reports; and perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
