Position
Applications are invited for the appointment as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics. The post is for at least one year, and renewal for another year is subject to satisfactory performance. The applicant is expected to commence as soon as possible, but the starting date is negotiable. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointee will be working under the supervision of Prof. Zhigang Bao (https://sites.google.com/view/zhigangbaohomepage/).

 

Qualification

  1. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related area.
  2. Candidates are expected to have a strong research background in the area of Random Matrix Theory, Free Probability Theory, or High-dimensional Statistics.
