Administrative Assistant I in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530027) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 12 years’ programme management and supervisory experience, preferably in a tertiary institution.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese), be a good team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and able to work on their own initiative.  Commitment to quality and results, excellent time management, good problem-solving skills, professional work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are essential qualities.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

The appointee will provide administrative support to the planning, execution and development of undergraduate programmes, inclusive of programme administration, maintenance of student records and information systems, assessments, committee work, supervisory of clerical staff and perform any other duties as assigned.  

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary.
